Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was truly angelic at last night’s Met Gala. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Ralph Lauren Scott, who accompanied Cardi B, wore a matching beaded jacket and pants. Her beaded gown and headdress where paired with a luxurious overskirt crafted by Jeremy Scott of Moschino. With his hair and an intricate Gucci design, Jared Leto did just that.Ĭardi B certainly made a bold statement on the carpet. With this specific theme, it was only a matter of time that someone was going to come onto the carpet in a Jesus-inspired look. The deep red velvet was paired with a gold chainmail hood that gave her a halo-esque look with a military vibe. Priyanka Chopra’s look was dramatic and luxurious. Her headpiece was also much larger than a majority of the other celebrities with a celestial star motif. SZA looked ethereal, yet dramatic in her Atelier Versace gown and matching boots. Her liquid gold dress was reminiscent of a gold frame or architecture found in churches. H&M might be a casual ready-to-wear brand, but they went unmistakably high-fashion for this event. The sculptural latex design from Iris Van Herpen was paired with a gold halo, definitely a bold choice. Solange is always a fashion innovator, so this theme was going to be an interesting challenge for her. Her look was definitely an impressive head-turner that was perfectly matched with this year’s theme.
